Illustration Friday "Flavour"
In Sweden we have these gummy sweetie fish made by the Swedish candy company "Malaco." I've seen them in the States being sold as "Swedish fish" and I think Malaco call themselves "Leaf" when they market products abroad. Anyhow, I thought of all these different flavoured fish, and then of what might eat fish. For some reason bears popped into my head and la voíla, we have a candy-loving polarbear.

I'm really enjoying these colorful, humorous cartoon illustrations here--they're great! And I love the Sweedish Fish.
mmmmm....swedish fish. very good illo, too.
Great cartoon. So, it's true then, gummy fish eat gummy bears?
I like how the fish are swimming to the bear instead of him chasing the fish! Fun!...and, a great illustration!
I LOVE Swedish Fish!! They get stuck in your teeth, but it's so worth it.
Nice illo... like all the colors.
Linn I really love your art! You are fantastic...keep up the good work!
i do love this!!! love those swedish fishys too!
Fun coool illo!! Those fishes sure look tasty!
I remember these little fish. Very tasty when 10 years old. Have not been back in many years to buy them. Nice take on flavours!
Salut, Amor e Dinero!
Love your illo!
When pigs dive made me LOL!!!
Swedish Fish were my favorite candy for like...A whole week...
unfortunately, I ate too much of them. They are no longer my favorite.
Thanks for the comments everyone! Gosh, I didn't realise swedish fish were THAT popular outside of Sweden *grins* And yes, I do think that might just be a gummy bear. Yes, maybe he should only be fed Swedish rye bread (healthy, fibrous and no sugar!) for the next month or so...
In fact Leaf are the Dutch company that own Malaco among other Scandinavian candy makers. Sad but true...
I really enjoy your drawings, please keep it up.
